This giclee print of an original watercolour work entitled 'The Old Moon in the New Moon's Arms' refers to the phenomenon when, as the moon begins to wax after a new moon, on a clear night the dark part of the moon is dimly lit by Earthshine (light reflected from the Earth's surface) so that it can be seen, cradled by the brightly lit crescent: the old moon in the new moon's arms.

Using Ultrachrome Pro 12 pigment-based inks printed on 310gsm archival Hahnemuhle German Etching paper, this print can have a lifespace in excess of 400 years without fading.

Each print comes hand-signed by the artist.
